Alcohol abuse is responsible for 100,000 deaths annually in the US and 16,000 deaths annually are due to illicit drug use. However, there is hope because many people can recover! With help and personal commitment almost anyone can overcome substance abuse. There are many ways you or your business can support the cause: Donations, Fundraising, Volunteering or maybe just becoming an advocate and spread the word. Red is the color for Substance Abuse, by wearing red you show your support and motivate people to get involved. September is National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month. Let's get involved.
